A New Year, Final Semester of College?

So wow 2009 is here! haven't had a chance to write an blog since boxing day, I was quite busy over the holiday season visiting friends and family and talking to many people about my recent trip to New Orleans.

New Years was great spent the night at home with my parents, a nice meal of Lobster and Steak. It was excellent, watch the New years festivities across the country and headed to bed.

I spent a few more days home before heading back into the city to face my final semester of Civil Engineering Technology.

A few interesting points I'd like to make, I was not long back in town and was contacted by the Rogers Cable tv program "out of the fog" to do a interview about my work in New Orleans, me and Janine done the interview, which is airing tonight on channel 9, and repeating this weekend.

Go all register and settled into to class, again still in search of a few books got a few on ebay.

John Oates the campus admin at my campus of College of the North Atlantic gave us a great little CNA jump drive containing his pictures from the NOLA trip, I'll get some up asap.

I am now trying to decided what to do when I am finished college, I am  strongly considering continuing my education somewhere, there are a few options.

- IUPUI - for my masters in construction management and bachelor of science in technology

- Marine Institute - for my bachelor of technology

- MUN - Post Secondary education degree

- CNA - Safety Engineering Technology.

They all have there pros and cons, I'd love to go to IUPUI its a great program and I'll get a lot out of it, but it is quite expensive, and out of the country, but again I have family in Indy.

The education degree probably wont happen anytime soon, so I am debating mainly between MI and CNA, going to speak to a few people about some things soon.

I know for sure that I'll be back in New Orleans this spring for a bit, hopefully be able to make a stop in Indiana as well. Keeping all fingers and toes crossed that it'll work out.
